Amazon is taking on Nvidia
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has made a number of big moves with the announcement of a supercomputer called Project Rainier. The supercomputer uses a new server and hundreds of thousands of its homegrown Trainium AI chips. It's believed this move is to reduce reliance on GPUs made by Nvidia. AWS already has a big customer of this new technology in Anthropic, which Amazon has already invested $4 billion into.

AI could negatively impact musical creators
A recent report commissioned by the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) suggested that AI will have a significant negative impact on individuals in the music and audiovisual industries. The report cites a potential loss by creators of 24% in music and 21% in audiovisual by 2028. On the other hand, revenues of Gen AI services in music and audiovisual are projected at €9 billion in 2028, up from €0.3 billion now
